I have been working for 888 for just under 2 years, but have been working in the VIP Loyalty Department for 14 months taking care of our French speaking VIPs, and this move turned out to be even better than expected.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
Many things, where do I start? All my colleagues before me have said it, but this is really a great team. As a VIP account manager we need to do a lot of various tasks and this makes it really exciting and never repetitive. On one day you might have to plan events, on the other assist our members with their gaming queries, on certain days you even get to travel to go meet new people. How does that sound to you? I also get to ride a motorcycle to work everyday as the weather in Andalucia is great most of the year!
What do you think sets Casino-on-Net’s VIP service apart from others?
I have members that I know well, and therefore I am able to assist them and help them not only in a more personal manner, but more particularly with a better knowledge of their circumstances. This makes all the difference whenever a member needs a fast and efficient response to their queries.

Which has been the most enjoyable trip you’ve shared with our VIPs? I have only been involved in the one so far, where we saw the match between Middlesbrough FC and Manchester City, which was great! You usually don’t get a guided visit of the grounds as well as full hospitality treatment when you go and see a football match. Our VIPs did and I was part of it. I look forward to the next one I am planning right now but that’s another story…

What puts a smile on your face in your day-to day work? Receiving questionnaires from my members because it’s nice to know that people share my values in life – some of them have very interesting lives and I find that fascinating. A new member is just a friend that you haven’t made yet!
Do you have any tips for our VIPs? Once you’ve made a cashout, don’t reverse it! This way you get to reap the benefits of your successful play when you win, win, win!
Which has been the most enjoyable trip you’ve shared with our VIPs? My favorite trip was to Las Vegas – it was so surreal. I felt just like I was just like I was in the movies. I did work really hard (if you can call it work) and watched my members’ techniques when playing in the casino. But I won’t give up my day-job!

How long have you worked in the VIP Loyalty Department?
I have been in the VIP department ever since I started at 888 over 16 months ago.
I have seen it go from strength to strength, against all odds, especially after the U.S legislation was implemented last October.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
It has to be a combination of having wonderful members and being part of a great team, although I must admit that getting paid to accompany members to football games comes a very close second.

Which has been your most enjoyable trip you have shared with our VIPs? I would say that it is a dead-heat between Istanbul and Athens. I joined the VIP Loyalty Department when it was first established in 2005. Two years on, I am still loving it!
What do you most enjoy about your job?
There are many parts of my job that I enjoy, but if I have to pick just one thing, it would be meeting my members face-to-face. I am fortunate to have personal contact with my wonderful members, and to have the opportunities of meeting them in person is the most rewarding part of my job.

Which has been your most enjoyable trip you have shared with our VIPs?
I am not good at picking favorites. A member recently asked me the same question, and I honestly could not give him an answer. All of the trips I have taken have been so enjoyable, picking a favorite would be like picking between chocolate and shoes! I must say though, the Dubai trip I shared with our VIPs last month was very special.

How long have you worked in the VIP Loyalty Department?
Well, it's been almost 10 months since I joined the VIP team and I think more and more of this team by the day, and hope to be part of it for as long as possible! Wow... 10 months already! Time does fly when you're having fun!
What do you most enjoy about your job?
The special bond one creates with his/her own members, and the actual meeting of them in person, at events or special occasions! It's always interesting to see their expressions when they can finally put a face to the name at the end of the emails! Of course, this is always a rather pleased expression, as we are all young and beautiful (!!!).
What do you think sets Casino-on-Net's VIP service apart from others?
With our VIP members we don't just TRY to do our best, we DO it! We make every single one of them feel SPECIAL and UNIQUE, as they truly are, and we help and assist in every possible way, whether it's a simple question or the moon they're asking for!
What puts a smile on your face in your day-to day work?
1) Seeing my unbelievably sociable colleagues (what a gang!).
2) Receiving my members' emails telling me all about themselves (I love gossip!!)
3) The events I get to go to, where I get to meet fantastic people.
I must admit though, the funnies my members send me are also in my top ten list!

The most important one is to 'ALWAYS HAVE FUN', then comes the 'GO FOR THE JACKPOT' and last (but most definitely NOT least), 'WRITE TO US'; it's always a pleasure to receive your emails and be in contact!
Which has been the most enjoyable trip you've shared with our VIPs?
Well, up to now I have only been to the 2007 World Snooker Championship, and I'm sure all my future events will be just like it!
My partner in crime for this occasion, Grainne (scroll down to read about Grainne), allowed me to really 'feel' the event's organization; the Snooker final itself was thrilling (from the moment I understood what the actual rules were!!!), and the members... well... there aren't enough words to describe how adorable and entertaining they all were!

How long have you worked in the VIP Loyalty team?
I have been a member of the VIP Team for 15 months, but have been working at 888 for just over two years now.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
I like the fact that each day is different and I get to travel too, this being one of my passions along with photography. Aside from this it’s the rest of the team here at the office that makes it such an enjoyable job!
What do you think sets Casino-on-Net’s VIP service apart from others?
Well I have not worked for any other online Casino but I know a lot of people within the industry and I truly believe that our customer service is second to none, but this would start by the fact that our Training department is excellent, so before even stepping out on the floor you have been extensively trained in all aspects of the job.
What puts a smile on your face in your day-to day work?
Being able to solve a problem or issue gives me satisfaction and again having a laugh with my workmates, a fantastic bunch!
Do you have any tips for our VIPs?
First and foremost to enjoy yourselves, it’s all about having fun, when you do win some, cash out the funds - this makes it all the more enjoyable!
Which has been the most enjoyable trip you’ve shared with our VIPs?
I do get to go on quite a few events, mainly the football matches with Sevilla FC, a real great atmosphere especially now that we are top of the Spanish first division. But I would have to say that going to New York just before Christmas was the best, a truly amazing city and the guests were fantastic, a real pleasure to have met up with.

How long have you worked in the VIP Loyalty team?
I have worked within the VIP Loyalty team since May 2006, and loved every minute.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
Where do I begin? I enjoy absolutely everything! I have wonderful members to look after, who do actually become friends. It’s great when you get a call or an e-mail from a member just so they can tell you what they have done over the weekend. Obviously I enjoy the events enormously, who wouldn’t enjoy traveling the world and staying in top class hotels? Lastly my colleagues, I can honestly say that I work with the greatest people; I know its sounds so cliché, but I do believe that I have the greatest job in the world!
What do you think sets Casino-on-Net’s VIP service apart from others?
I believe that what sets Casino-on-Net apart from other Casino’s is our honesty, fine attention to detail and personal care. Our members know that no matter what time of day or night, they can always contact us and get the assistance they require there and then.
What puts a smile on your face in your day-to day work?
Knowing that no matter how much we have on the agenda for a particular day there is always time for a laugh and joke. We really do have a superb group of people in the office, and I know our happiness is reflected in our work with our individual members.
Do you have any tips for our VIPs?
The only tip I would have for our members is to enjoy the games! Try not to take them too seriously. When you are at the Casino you are there to have fun, so make sure you really do enjoy yourself.
Which has been the most enjoyable trip you’ve shared with our VIPs? I have enjoyed all of the trips I been fortunate enough to attend. My first event was Royal Ascot earlier this year, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, I must say that Tobago was just out of this world! I have never met nicer people in all my life. It is one place I will most certainly be visiting again!!

How long have you worked in the VIP Loyalty Department?
I joined the VIP Loyalty Department in September 2005. Since then I have seen this team grow immensely. I can safely say that we have grown into one the best departments I have ever worked for! We are constantly pushing our high standards to the highest, and creating new ideas to better ourselves and the whole department.
I really love this as it also allows me to improve my own skills, and develop in my career!
What do you most enjoy about your job? Staying in five star hotels of course!! Seriously though, I would have to say the people – whether it’s my colleagues in the team, or my VIP members that I look after each day. As I know my members on a personal level, it gives me great satisfaction dealing with their individual needs…. every day brings something new!!! What’s even more exciting is meeting my members face to face on events, such as Las Vegas, Paris, and London. I am really very lucky to get to have these experiences with such great people!!
What do you think sets Casino-on-Net's VIP service apart from others? The personal touch!!!! When you play online – let’s face it, the Casino is a screen on your PC! However when you play with Casino-on-Net, we put a face behind the screen! We do this by getting to know our members personally. Which has been the most enjoyable trip you've shared with our VIPs? Without a doubt – Paris!!!! The food, the art, the architecture…and of course the shopping!!!!! It truly is an amazing city!! We really had a great time from start to finish, from seeing the infamous ‘Moulin Rouge’, to dining on the Eiffel Tower, it was magical!!! One trip we won’t forget in a hurry!!!

How long have you worked in the VIP Loyalty Department? I've been working in this wonderful department for six months and although I am still one of its newest additions, I've felt right at home right from the start.
What do you most enjoy about your job? Traveling would definitely be one of the things at the top of my list. I do love the fact that I not only get to personally attend to my members' needs but that I get to know them individually, as people not only clients, and in some cases meet them in person.
What do you think sets Casino-on-Net's VIP service apart from others? In all honesty I can say that a company and the service they provide is only as good as the people they hire. I think that we have the most talented, professional and motivated group of individuals who work extremely hard every day to ensure that our members receive the highest level of service available, and that I believe sets us apart from any online Casino.

VIPs at the 888.com World Snooker Championship
“You could hold a tiddlywinks tournament and we would go just to meet up with the 888.com people we call our friends!” These are the elated words of Paul McC. from the UK, who joined VIP account managers Sarah and Grainne and many VIPs at May’s 888.com World Snooker Championship, Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.
Guaranteeing a lot more talent and thrills than tiddlywinks, the resulting win from John Higgins was a tense and exciting ride, and we were delighted some of our VIPs were there to enjoy snooker history in the making.

Seville FC score again at the UEFA Cup Final
It was another goal for 888.com as our sponsored Seville FC recently won the coveted UEFA Cup, and seven of our VIPs and their guests were there to see it! Hosted by VIP account managers Eddie, Nicola, Louis and VIP manager Bernadette, they joined thousands of spectators on May 16 in Glasgow, Scotland to witness the cup clash between rival Spanish teams Seville and Espanyol.
On the final whistle the score was 1-1 then after extra time was a nerve wracking 2-2… pure thrills and excitement! Seville then went on to win in a tense penalty shoot out, hanging on to one of Europe’s most prestigious club titles.

No time to rest at the 888.com World Snooker Championship
Nineteen of our VIPs and their guests recently took their cue to join us at the 888.com World Snooker Championship, at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, to watch the most revered title in the snooker calendar being played out.
With a lineup of international snooker stars competing for the coveted title of World Snooker Champion, the tension leading to the final was truly nail biting, eventually resulting in an exciting win by John Higgins from United Kingdom.
Last year’s reigning Champion, Graham Dott, was knocked out in the first round, which quickly intensified the competition. Our lucky VIPs were there to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the high quality event, attending a champagne reception, rubbing shoulders with the stars in person and witnessing snooker history in the making.
Since the first Championship was held at this venue in 1978 and with a history stretching back to 1927, this is not only a fantastic event but the climax of a great snooker season. 888.com is proud to be part of this sporting institution and we were delighted to be able to extend the invitation to our VIPs.
Madness at the footy: Middlesbrough and Man City battle it out
On March 17, one of our VIPs, Ben R., got the opportunity to support his favorite team, Manchester City, by attending their match against Middlesbrough as one of 888.com’s guests, along with 888.com’s VIP Loyalty Managers Sarah and Franck.
Unfortunately for 888.com’s MFC, Manchester won the day scooping a phenomenal 2/0 victory, but of course as our VIPs come first we took our disappointment lightly and celebrated with Ben instead. He seemed to have brought his luck from the Casino-on-Net games to the football ground!

888.com’s Seville FC showed off their fancy footwork against Barcelona in March’s clash in front of their home crowd. Two of our VIPs, their guests and VIP Loyalty Managers Eddie and Luis watched as the home team took victory, 2-1.

Having a ball at the rugby!
It’s no secret that Italy is best known for their football skills. In March, they showed off their talents in another sport, rugby, and four of our Italian VIPs and their guests were at Rome’s Flaminio stadium to enjoy their game against Wales, in the 2007 Six Nations Rugby Championship.
Accompanied by 888.com’s Italian compatriots, VIP Loyalty Manager, Chiara, and Italian Country Manager, Illana, our VIPs, fanatic or not, had the change to sing the national anthem, support their team, and, of course, celebrate the victory, as the match ended with an amazing triumph for the Italian national team.

Horsing around at Cheltenham
Aaaand they’re off! 28 Casino-on-Net and Pacific Poker members, many of them VIPs, recently enjoyed the thrill of the famous Cheltenham Racing Festival, one of the most anticipated festivals of the horse racing calendar, courtesy of 888.com.
The whole event was a great success, with each day starting with a champagne reception in our own private box, complete with direct views of the race course. 2007 Snooker Masters!
You could have cut the tension in the air with a pool cue. Together with their hosts Grainne and Chiara, four VIPs witnessed snooker history in the making as they watched Ronnie O’Sullivan take victory over Ding Junhui and become the 2007 Snooker Masters Champion, at London’s Wembley Arena.
Our guests enjoyed a great evening mingling with celebrities and professionals of the game, including being spoilt by a close-up encounter with the champion himself, Ronnie O’Sullivan.
'Just a quick note to thank you for your hospitality at the weekend at the Masters snooker tournament. I had a great time and the atmosphere was wonderful. It may not have been a white Christmas but it was a very bright Christmas in New York as five VIPs and their guests enjoyed the lights and festivities of the holiday season, courtesy of their win in September and October’s VIP event.

Football Fever!
The 'beautiful game' was recently attended by three of our VIPs, two of whom supported 888.com's Middlesbrough Football Club against opponents Liverpool, and one who cheered on local Spanish heroes, 888.com's Seville FC against Valencia, courtesy of tickets given to them and their guests by 888.com.
It was a 'hard day's night' for both the Liverpudlians and the Boro battlers, neither of whom scored during the match, but the lack of goals on the board didn't dampen our VIPs' spirits.

The engines were roaring, the champagne was bubbling and four of our VIPs and their guests were jumping with excitement as they attended Valencia's famous Moto GP recently, courtesy of a win in our recent 'Reign in Spain' VIP event.
A thrilling race was enjoyed by all, buoyed by drama as race leader and favorite, Valentino Rossi, fell off his bike and succumbed his lead to the eventual winner, American Nicky Hayden.
Not one to do things in halves, 888.com also treated its special guests to a helicopter ride from the event, avoiding a five hour traffic jam!
Angel M., from Spain, was still celebrating his win of his and hers Cartier watches in September's VIP Prize Surprise event when he found out he had won a VIP package to the Moto GP in Valencia. The world may be hot with football fever but on June 10th the coolest place to be was Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea Football Club. November's 'Springtime in Paris' VIP-only event gave our VIPs and their guests a spring in their step after enjoying a weekend in Paris.

An 'Ice' Time in Quebec!
Three VIPs from Ontario, Canada, recently enjoyed the world's largest winter carnival, held in Quebec, after winning an all expenses paid trip as part of the October 2005 Casino-on-Net VIP event.
Derrick L., Andrew S., David R. and their partners enjoyed fine French dining, fantastic hotel views of the snow-capped city, and were attendees at what could be described as one of the world's 'coolest' winter parties, complete with ice sculptures, dog sledding, winter sports competitions and an amazing life-size ice palace.
